Due to a number of factors, our backlog situation has grown to unmanageable levels and so it is time to take some drastic measures.
We have decided to temporarily suspend accepting new repairs. Yes, we are currently NOT accepting units for repair at this time until we can get things under control. We have not been able to reasonably estimate repair times and as a result, we have a number of disappointed customers, something we don't like to do. The reasons are many, some heath issues among them and since we are a one man operation... the impact on repair times is quite significant.
If you have sent a unit in, we will complete it! But, we ask that you do not send any units for repair after November 10th, 2013. Once we can get the backlog cleaned up, we will remove this message and things can get back to normal!
We anticipate being back online by October 1, 2014.
When we return to business as usual in the new year, several changes to the website and our return system will be implemented to streamline the return and repair process. This will include a new credit card system (no more paper forms) and online repair status checks.
